I still haven't figured out a good way to cook duck and I have a freezer full from past season. Just looking for some tips on your favorite way to cook them.....

I pluck all my ducks so they are all whole with the skin on.

Ship them up to me and I'll show you how to cook them. Duck is awesome.

I do mine in a Mississippi Roast. Put your duck breast in a crock pot. Take 1 packet of dry Auju, 1 packet dry ranch dip, 1 stick of butter, & 4-5 banana peppers. Pour it over top of the duck and cook till tender. That's the way my kids like it. Hope it helps.

My brothers father in law makes goose jerky, maybe you can give that a try with your ducks

Not a bad idea at all... After making this post I still failed to impress my wife with roast duck. Her buy-in is important to my hunting activity and I just got her to come around to hog and deer as common table fare.

Imma try the crock pot recipe by Dwb first before resorting to jerky. Jerky is a fail-safe last resort (saved for pre-duck season).

Fajitas, crock pot, jalapeno poppers, tacos, shredded duck sandwhiches. Mine all pertain to goose, but virtually the same difference. Mine are always skinless though. I always laugh when people say waterfowl is disgusting because there are many ways to make up one heck of a meal with waterfowl.

Now as great white hunter 3 said mine is skinless as well.
I do this as well and love them. I blend my seeds and vains up and mix it into the cream cheese so that they are hotter.

I really like to grill the breasts. I make a steak marinade or I use a steak seasoning and cook it on the grill. Just have to keep an eye on it so it doesn's get over cooked. Let them rest after they come off the grill.

Another good way to introduce someone to duck, is by making duck poppers.

What a coincidence; my wife ended up getting that book for me. I read through it and already have a few recipes flagged.

I do a Chili that isn't to bad. My wife likes me to make sausage out of it and she will make a meatloaf out of it. I want to try Dwb recipe that sounds good.
