Do you have to tune a bow to every broadhead or just fixed blades?

i have never tuned a bow to a broadhead and that might be why i missed 3 deer last year.......

Your bow should be tuned, period. Tune with field points and then move to the BH of your choice. Even if you pick a mechanical, you’ll get better flight and penetration.

I use the same weight field point as broadhead and do just fine. Dont adjust your bow to your broadhead. Adjust your broadhead yo your bow. Experiment with then and see how they react.

My standard is set the bow up, paper tune, then walk back tune. I have had some luck with broad head tuning but not every bow that i've had will broad head tune

Aerodynamically, all broadheads are not field points. The simplest thing is to shoot your Broadheads and see what happens. If your Broadheads misbehave and spray a bit. Then my first step, what arrows / spine / draw weight / draw length are you shooting.

I acquired a new bow this year and decided to try bare shaft tuning. I hadn't ever done it before with a compound but once i got my bare shafts to shoot straight it didn't seem to matter what broadhead i put on the end of the arrow. I tried out mechanical and several different variations of fixed blade. They all flew equal to my field points.
