I am fairly new to archery. I started last year and all of the information can get confusing with so many mixed opinions. Fixed point vs mechanical, arrow weight, ect. I have a 55# with 28in draw length and a 340 beman arrow. I have NAP thunderheads, but was thinking of getting the c.o.c rage ss mechanicals. Thoughts?
I'm with Fix, get yourself some nasty fixed heads to fling at 55#. if you're new go to a nearby pro shop that knows the bow you shoot well so you're sure you're shooting the right arrow specs. Best of luck dude
55# does not make your bow THAT slow... **Pssst** You can use either... and here's another hint... if you don't like it, change to something else! Enjoy the journey!
At that poundage shoot fixed. If you up your poundage, grim reapers are awesome! Sent from my SM-G892A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I'd shoot fixed with that draw weight. I upped my arrow weight and went from 60-70 pounds to help push my rage 2 blades. Got tired of not getting great penitration.
