I'll spare ya'll most of the details; but tonight I ended up nosediving off of the Mathews bandwagon onto Team Bowtech. I bought a Realm.
Side by side against a Triax (both 70#/29.5") I just kept going back to the Bowtech. Long story short I liked how the Triax felt -after- the shot a little more than the Bowtech; but -before- the shot I liked the Bowtech substantially more. Even on the "performance" setting; the draw cycle was noticeably better than the Mathews. Solid back wall. Nice valley. And the "comfort" setting? pfffft, please. 70# felt like 60. Smooth as silk. Rock solid back wall. Could sit there at full draw all day and not jump forward.

They didn't have a LH in Kryptek Altitude so I have to wait a couple weeks; but I am pretty excited for fall.

Picked up a Summit Viper SD the other day. Guy took it out one time and hated it. Got it for $175. Bargains are out there if you look for them.

CL ad for several parts and pieces of tree stands. Said there was one complete ladder stand, a climber and Muddy hang on stand. Bought it all for $80. Ended up with a 16' ladder stand complete, a good Muddy hang on, Ameristep climber that needed two bolts replaced, set of Swift Tree climbing sticks in perfect condition, 12' ladder only , 2 sections of Ameristep wide ladder and 1 Rivers Edge stick. Will keep the ladder stand and the Muddy. Rest can go.

UPDATE: Sold the climber, ladder sticks and the 3 section ladder. Kept the ladder stand and the 2 sections of a ladder and made $10 plus a free ladder stand.

I picked up two more X stand double ladder stands. I went with the 20' Jayhawk this time. I really like the Talon but I don't need the extra height for these two sets. The boxes look like they were dragged behind a pick up all the way from MO. I hope everything is inside...
