More like arrogant and a true lack of intelligence. Most intelligent folks are humble. I am willing to bet I can out do you whether it be hunting or shooting kid, I have socks older than you. But go ahead and prove me wrong using a living animal as your example. I do have some advice for ya, "If you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough."
And this was my first post to this thread you little turd. I'll stand by it and reiterate the point; if you are having to make shots out that far on a whitetail you are lacking as a bow hunter. You have no skill as a woodsman.
Wow. No not yet but I strive to be and I would expect the first rule of said woodsman would be respecting the animal you are hunting and not just wounding it by increasing the yardage that you would take it at but by getting closer to deliver a clean ethical shot.
Look, I have an opinion on this subject matter that differs quite a bit from the majority of folks on here. How come I was able to have a thorough, educated, respectful, and insightful discussion with Justin and the other members of this forum? Because the respect was mutual and even if a difference of opinion was maintained, there were no ignorant comments about my original post or any of my latter posts. You came on and provided very little content of substance and already resorted to a snarky remark about Xbox hunting. Really? There’s no need for that. It was civil, and many of these guys here are like my friends. Should I have lowered myself with my previous response? Maybe not. But you offered nothing other than ignorant sarcasm and disrespect after the rest of us discussed insightfully like adults.
Because it almost now season and our testosterone levels are inching up. Survival of the fittest. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I've always been one who is trying to see how close I can get to a shot rather than how far away I can shoot.
I am going to throw some gas on the argument. Like I said I have a single pin set at 25 yards, I practice at 25 yards. I can not wear contacts or glasses so when I shoot at the target I have to walk to about 10 yards to see where my arrow hit, is it unethical of me to hunt with my current vision?
Well you can’t shoot what you can’t see I guess In all seriousness, just because you can’t see the arrow doesn’t mean you can’t make an ethical shot. I remember Olympic gold medalist in the 04 and 08 games for archery was a man who was legally blind, and could hardly read a newspaper clearly. Yet he was still able to take gold and even set a world record. With that said, if you can see a deers vitals and put an arrow there within your range consistently, who can say that is unethical?
