As long as he throws 20+ TD’s I don’t care. Look at this video. Skip Bayless side by side montage . I believe he’s one of the highest paid sports “journalists” there is. People made a video of him debating with himself. https://twitter.com/bettyx2_/status/1009876979997380609?s=21 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I saw a stat the other day that has the Cowboys in the bottom half of the league for players with criminal records. As a matter of a fact everyone with a record has been cut from the team, so not sure what you mean exactly.
Yeah, with that owner and coach they also have the 2nd highest winning percentage of any team in the NFL when they have a healthy starting quarterback. The last three seasons they've been healthy they've went 12-4, 13-3 and 12-4. Now their playoff record may be a different story, but during the regular season they've been pretty impactful.
He’s not regarded as an expert football analyst anywhere, he’s regarded as a talented commentator who has found a niche breaking down plays before the snap. Apples and oranges m. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Jake I have a question did that squid Brad ever pay up on last years bet? I know he has not been around here but still welching on a bet is pretty low.
Yep, they were just missing an all-pro left tackle, all-pro running back and all-pro linebacker. Losing 3 pro bowlers and staying above .500 in arguably the best division in the NFL is quite tough. 2 of those games (GB, LAR) IMO were given away by the coach for not knowing how to use a clock or make an adjustment.
I don’t disagree with you but all things being equal - would they have had that much success if the teams they played were all healthy as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm not sure, because it's all could have beens that will never be proven. I will say in their defense Tyron Smith is the best left tackle in football, Zeke is the best ground running back (best back on the ground - not passing) and Sean Lee is the captain of that defense, so those are some pretty tough losses. The issue is you are supposed to build your team with depth to withstand losses like the Eagles did when they won the Super Bowl with a backup left tackle and back up quarterback. And to the poster above: yeah, you might be waiting another 20 years for a super bowl if they continue to ignore obvious weaknesses on the team. How long are they going to continue to undervalue the 1 technique defensive tackle? Ignore the role of a real FS instead of drafting corners and converting them to safety? How are they under good conscious going in the 2018 season with no #1 receiver or tight end? And do they really believe Dak Prescott is going to get them to a super bowl with superstars like Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Desean Watson, Derek Carr, etc. on the rise? The only two things that I feel strongly about going into this season is the offensive line and running game. I feel like the defense will be much better than people are expecting, but no vertical threats on the offense and a quarterback that could make Antonio Brown look bad will be the fall of them.
