I'm finally headed out in the morning as well. I was at this place 3 weeks ago and there was a lone tom there but it usually has quite a few birds by now. I'm taking my daughter and mom so it will be pretty much a roost hunt and once they wander off we will head home but it will be a good warm up and gear check run. Have a great weekend and good luck!!
weather is really turning for the better, temp wise, this week. Buddy of mine had his season this week and said they are on the move and answering calls, so looks promising. I'm putting out a blind on Sunday. My season starts Wed. Good luck to everyone!

put out my blind today. feeling pretty good. the weather has completely turned around for the better. quite a few guys I know got their birds this week. They are coming hot and getting smoked. I"ll keep ya'll posted. Good luck to everyone else!
1st day out. pretty slow day. heard not one gobble throughout the morning. went to another property to run n gun and only had a hen come by and a gobble in the late afternoon. I"ll be out again on Friday. Hopefully this mild cold front will be gone and things will improve.

Got one myself this week. Shot Wednesday morning. Scores 58.75 but I'm gonna wait b4 submitting cause got 2 more tags here in WI and could possibly shoot a better scoring one.
