I took the munchkin out to do hunting chores and we ended up seeing my #2 hitlister. She bragged about it the rest of the day.
Guessing next time out will Sunday evening. Then the orange army hits Monday. Still debating if I'll go out at all. If I do I may end up taking the bow, but not sure.
I have two boys about her same age. I know what you mean by still a little squirmy lol. I'm gonna try and get my oldest ( just turned 3 ) out with me in the blind next season. The way I see it, I only have another year maybe two that it's all about me, after that I will focus my efforts on my boys getting deer.
I'm just feeding them like crazy and crossing my fingers that they don't stray from my properties too far. If I go out, it will be with the bow too.
I don't know exactly when I will get back out. My weekends are limited since I try to be present on the weekends I get my kids, and that is this weekend. Between that and work, I am running out of time especially on bucks. I am confident on a doe for points, but the movement has kind of dwindled here. My neighbor saw a buck chasing 3 does this morning, so that was encouraging at least. Cold weather moves back in next week. I hope I can get an all day sit in that weekend. I haven't given up! I may be able to sneak in an evening hunt close to the house. Good luck fellas.
