I have watched many videos of hunters in North America over the years. I have always wondered why I never see tracking dogs used for follow up on wounded game. I hunt in Europe and South Africa where its part of the culture. Took up bow hunting this year and see my tracking dog as essential. I am even considering getting a small Dachhund which I can take in my pack and stand. Any inputs would be welcome.
