    Well I shot a decent buck but haven't found him hit him high possible got shoulder was a little dark didn't get a great amount of penetration it supposed to be warmer tonight and don't want him to go bad so I'm going to give if a couple hours and go look never found my arrow being he ran off with it

    Mind posting some details, impact placement, shot angle, broadhead, poundage yada yada yada


    And his reaction at impact and after the shot?

    Good luck, track slow. The meat doesn't start going bad until the blood stops pumping, meat could be just fine in the morning if that ends up being the case.

    Shooting swhacker 100 grain 70 draw broadside shot tight to front shoulder and high 20 yard shot he ran for the most part as fast as he could could see very far it was thick

    Went out tonight, had no signal so I couldn't post. Saw one lone deer near the end of light. Thinking it was a buck, not 100% thou.

    As long as my truck doesn't break down again, I should be leaving for NJ tomorrow and in my favorite ground spot by 1500 tomorrow afternoon! Intel says bucks are pre rutting in central NJ, rubbing trees, fighting and tearing up the ground. Should be good.

    I should be waking up for work in about 45 minutes, instead I climbed in the tree!! Same spot as yesterday, going to be a shorter sit though, I need to catch up on some work today. But hey it’s October 18th and it’s the second morning in a row the temps dropped into the 30s. The weather for the weekend is looking warm again so I’ll get out when I can!! Good luck with the truck Vermont! Love when your in NJ, they always seem to fall!
