If I'd shot that buck I would have a smile for at least a good week that wouldn't go away! Congrats to your buddy on a hell of a buck!

I see this dude all over Youtube with his videos from around here, but can never figure out if they're from public or private ground. There's not a lot of spots in Lake Co that are private anymore and hold bucks like that. The ones that are usually adjoin large preserves which is why the deer grow so large.

Regardless of all that, what a STUD of a buck. But Mr. Hawg needs to smile a little more and try not looking so B-A all the time.

Turns out the alleged 190 was actually taken somewhere else. I'm hearing somewhere near 176/Gilmer area. Should know more and have photos tomorrow.

I know every inch of Lake County.. it was NO public piece.

Has to be Wisconsin-ish border.. My guess is around Grass Lake road area JZ. Those CRP fields grow rampant along that region which is also dotted with tons of conservation ground.

Nice buck anyway. Congrats to the hunter.

I wasn't implying it was killed on public. But this guy posts a new video every week of a shooter buck pretty much all summer long. If he's got a private piece with that many giants on it, he's onto something better than we could ever imagine.
