What kind of fruit is this?

    Was out checking trail cameras and ran across some of these fruits laying on the ground. They are about the size of a grape, but kinda smell like an apple. Never could find the tree or vine that they were growing on, but I have no idea what they are. Does anyone know what these are?[​IMG][​IMG]

    Where I grew up they grew wild all over the woods. We always called the golden ones Scupudines and the red ones Muscadines. Make for some of the finest homemade wine a man could have… Just sayin
