Just curious how often y'all change out your strings and cables. I'm needing to change mine and looking at either Winners Choice or Vapor Trail those are the two my local bow carry. All though they can order several others. I currently have Stage One Strings on my 08 Elite Z28
I usually two or three bows set up at any given time so the use gets spread out a bit. However even with steady use you shouldn't have any trouble getting two years or a little bit more off a set of correctly built strings and cables.
Any suggestions on custom strings and cables. I am going to go all black on my bow from the orange and black. Maybe a touch of another color in the strings just not sure which color.

I would go with the VTX strings from Vaportrail. Call them up and ask for Jerrod(Ears is what they call him) he will get you all set up with whatever color combo you want.
I can go 2 year on my bow. My bow came stock with stone mountain strings. Got the premium stone mountain strings two years ago. Just ordered my first custom set from jbk bow string. He has a warranty on his strings.
