Hey guys, I am looking for some input regarding hang-on stands. I 6'5 -235lbs... I would like to get something that has a decent platform size along with comfort in mind. Having a size 14 boot on a narrow platform doesn't leave much room to play with lol .... I would like some input from other guys in similar situations.... I see a lot of you on here talk about the lone wolf stands, but I don't really intend on packing up all the time and it just seems a little pricey. This stand will be in a staying put throughout the season.

In one of sets I have the Game Winner over sized hang on stand. It's pretty comfortable for a long sit. I'm 6' & 275lbs with a size 13 rubber boot & it fits me good. Has a good sized platform for moving around.

Is it just a flat seat with no back to it? Do you wish you would have some back support or does that not really matter all that much to you?

It's just a flat seat. No back. No back support really doesn't matters to me, as long as the seat is a descent size. My main thing is a big platform to stand on.

My feet aren't that big but the M100U has a decent platform especially with the seat flipped up. The seat is super comfortable.

Unfortunately the old adage is true, You get what you pay for. As you probably already know trying to spend the day in a cheap tree stand is never an enjoyable experience. I prefer the top of the line Millennium series M100U or M150. Very comfortable!

M150 is well worth the price! It's like a recliner in the tree, with more than enough platform room!

I used a buddy's summit last year. Big platform, wide seat, and super easy to hang. I really liked it

Could you ask him which one. I'm eye balling the summit mammoth lock on stand.

If I had a place to leave a stand up all season/year I'd buy a two man stand for my 6'8" frame. I'm just not that comfortable sitting while shooting unless the deer is in the perfect spot (they NEVER are) and standing can be a bit unsteady with size 15/16 boots hanging off the platform.
    Safety first, ALWAYS.
