I need to upgrade my tripod, and there is way too many options out there.. Looking for something that wont break the bank and that I can attach my Manfrotto head to.. I have a G30 with shotgun mic to mount on it. Any advice??

There's so many options out there it's kinda crazy. Take a look at this one. I have a monopod that made by Sirui and it has amazing build quality. I have been running the same Manfrotto 55 series tripod with a leveling column for the past 7 or 8 years. The sticks are overkill for my setup, but it is rock solid stable. I love the leveling column and cannot imagine setting up without one. This is the current version of my setup ... I top it all of with a Manfrotto 503HDV head. This head is also overkill for my rig, but the thing is so solid and butter smooth at the same time that I like it over my smaller/lighter 701HDV head.
