Hey guys, I just ordered a axcel armortech vision with 0.10 size pins. Just wondering what pin size everyone likes and anybody use this sight. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
i have .10 on my spot hog hog it sight. it's really nice not having a pin covering up the whole target a far shots
That's what I was thinking, the sight I have now at 30 yards the pin covers the target. Was worried about pin brightness though. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
you mite need a sight light. but that all depends on how bright the pin are to being with.(some are brighter than others)
I have that sight but I have .019 pins. I do have the light but it is very bright and only use it inside a blind and rarely.
I have the dovetail version of that sight in both .010 and .019. I use the .010 for 3d and the .019 for hunting. I wouldn't have any reservations using the .010 for hunting though. Both are plenty bright for treestand use.
I run a .010 pin on any sight not using a dovetail. On my sights with dovetails I run .019 pins. These are both my hunting bows. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm running .019 now but really think I need to try .010. I've noticed that the larger pins look blurry sometime. Then again, maybe I just need glasses.
I have been running .019 for a while, but bought a '16 CBE Tek Hybrid Pro sight last summer to put on my Prime Rival that was configured with a single up-pin in .010. I just could not see that thing in less than ideal light, so I ended up contacting CBE for a .019 green replacement. On an older True Glo Range Rover I have on the bench, it runs an .029 and that thing looks HUGE.
That's the way mine were, I got my new sight and I'm glad I went with the .10 pins. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It sucks cause i have to run .19 on my sights now due to poor eye sight. Bifocals really, really suck. .10 i couldnt focus in anymore. Lol Sent from my SM-N920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
