I am thinking about switching from spitfires to killzones to get larger entry holes in case I don't have a pass through. Should I expect pass throughs with a killzone with my set up ? How has everyone else's experiences been with the killzones?
They are amazing!!!!! Just make the switch you won't be disappointed! Friends don't let friends hunt with guns
I have a very similar setup and have broken two ribs in and two ribs going out, I have no regrets. The only thing is when you hit a shoulder blade I have had no luck getting through it with the kill zone, so as long as you stay away from the shoulder blade you will be fine!
I broke through a shoulder blade on a 125lb buck last year with a spitfire maxx. I'm hoping if I hit shoulder blade with the killzone it would at least do the same. That was with a 466 gr arrow though.
I had very good results with the Spitfire Maxx's last year also. I picked up a few killzones to try them. That long ferrule and wide blades just seem suspect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I LOVE the killzones killed my first deer with one this year great head wont disappoint Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
After sending some shots down range at longer distance , my arrows fly better with 125 out front instead of 100 grains. So total arrow weight will be 449 grains at about 278.
