Hey guys, 1st off I would like to say I am very new to the sport so sorry if this is a stupid question, I just bought a used Mathews z7 and it has a sure loc lethal weapon. Now I understand the basics of the sight but it has a ton of knobs and hex screws and not sure what most of them do. Any info on this would be great thanks for your input! First off welcome to the best sport in the world!!!!! The knobs are used for quick elevation and windage adjustments. The hex screws should be on the pins and they are for fine tuning your zero at certain yardages Friends don't let friends hunt with guns
You should be able to down load the owners manual off line or call the company and request one Friends don't let friends hunt with guns
Thanks! I've tried the website but cannot find a manual for older models or anywhere online. I've been shooting pretty religiously the past week and am addicted.... luckily I bought my wife a bow as well so I can use that as an excuse to shoot more :-) Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Unless I'm mistaken, that is a pretty dated model of a lethal weapon. Personally, I think you would save yourself a lot of headache if you sold that sight on eBay and purchased something different. There are thousands of quality, used sights out there that would get you headed in the right direction.
Get rid of the sight. Its too old like me. There are a ton of sights for a little or a lot, and a lot less complicated. Good hunting.
As a beginner, I would suggest a new sight. Quick adjustments take perfection. Get a sign that sets your pins in one spot. It takes away the chance for mechanical error Sent from my SM-G892A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
