I'm undecided on rather to go with the 400 spine Easton fmj or carbon express piledriver hunter. The set up I'm going to use with these is a 58 pound 27 inch draw and at 265 fps. Want weight and penatration

Is 265 your bow's IBO speed or the speed you're aiming to get out of these particular arrow selections.

Have you selected broadheads? Their design has a lot to do with penetration.

I was shooting 61/27.5 but I ran 400 spine Gold Tip Hunter XTs. I was getting 290+ fps out of that setup from my bow. Zipped through 2 deer last season.

    FMJ over CX every time.

FMJ Made in USA. CX not.

I would consider Axis (made in USA) with 50 or 75 gr insert and go with the 340. My bow don't care if arrows are over-spined but do if they are under-spined.

I loved my piledrivers for years! Used them with 125 grain Montecs & had great penetration, even at very steep angles, But my new bow with higher IBO liked the softer spine with those broadheads & I switched to Easton 400's...Shooting great out to 40 yards with my Montecs & no loss of penetration.

I live 10 miles from the factory in Flushing Michigan where the CX are made...They get sheets of carbon fiber shipped in, but make the arrows themselves. I imagine most have similar process...But American made is best.

I switched from Gold Tip hunter to the FMJ and never looked back. Great arrow!

    FMJ!!!!!!! All the way!!!!!!
They are amazing and pack a serious punch. I have a 27.5 DL and shoot 65lbs with 100 grain NAP killzones, best setup ever. Even out to 60 yards it blew through a doe. I practice regularly at 60-80yards and they are accurate as can be.

I shoot Easton Axis. Haven't shot the FMJs but they are a step up from the Axis. You should be happy with those. I prefer the Eastons my old arrows from Carbon Express.

Heavy FMJs 400s are probally the best choice for Low poundage bows.

I'd be from the Axis camp and I would go with 340's.

I shoot 60#'s @ 28.5" draw and shoot either the Easton Axis or ACC's both in 340 and have had great success with them using 100 grain fixed blade heads.
