Does anybody else out there have an issue with their Mathews drop away rest? Mine has a very loud click when I reach full draw, even though I flip it up before I draw. Wondering if I just spent a $$$ & got a defective one, or is there an issue with them?

Yeah it should not be clicking. It might make some noise when falling but a loud click when coming to full draw is not right. If it is a QAD I would call them or if you bought if from a pro shop have them take a look. Definitely don't try to take it apart without calling QAD if it is a QAD.

What type of Mathews rest? Like Copperhead, take it back to the archery shop and have them check it out.

Thanks guys. I've been asking around at archery league & didn't find anybody else using the Mathews rest on their Mathews bow...Made me suspicious. I'll take it to the shop instead of taking it apart...My last drop away rest was a no name lefty on clearance for $9--i flipped it around & never had any issues!

I'd contact QAD directly. They have a great customer service department. I had a QAD that was freezing up in 20* weather and they replaced it no questions asked. I also broke the containment bar off another bow I have with a QAD and when I called the customer service department to ask about buying a replacement they shipped one out that day free of charge. They've taken good care of me, says a lot that they stand by their products
