So how many of you have your own shop at your house ? I'm in the process of building mine and trying to get some ideas or any input from you who have them. So far I got a table from work it's a giant wooden spool from 4 inch coax that will stay in my garage were I'm building my shop. I ordered a last chance press and ultra lock adapters to press both my current bows halon 32 and carbon defiant. I ordered a custom built vise off of archery talk a set of levels I have rolls of bcy d loop and 3d serving thread I have all the tools required and some . I'll post pics in a few days when it's done if you guys have any input on other things I'll need let me know thanx or if you just wanna say how you have yours setup or post pics go ahead anything will help. I'm just trying to figure out how to set it up so I'll have everything I'll need right there.

I just got the press today and it's well worth the money it's a very solid press can't wait to get my set of platinums for my carbon defiant to really use it more.

I'll try to post some photos of my "shop" in progress tonight. I built a relatively small bench (4 foot x 2 foot) since I didn't have a lot of space to work with in my basement. I keep my vise mounted permanently to the bench, but take my press on and off as needed. I used a pair of C clamps to hold it down when in use, and it works great. When not in use I hang it from the rafters so it's out of the way. Works great so far.

Thanx guys. Yeah i don't have much room and we don't park in our garage at all so I'm building it there for a little more space and i didn't want to build or buy a bench or table so I'm using a coax roll i got for free from work but it's turning out great so far imo. I'll post more pics when I get my vise and other stuff. I've just been playing around with my new toy ( the bow press ) lol it sweet I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.

What's cool to once i pull it out and clean up a bit i have bar stools that fit the roll perfectly for sitting at so I can work on one side and sit or have my buddies sit and chill on the other as I work on my or there bows .

Still waiting on my scale and few little things but I think I'm basically done just waiting for my strings to come for my carbon defiant.

Yeah I did I'm actually looking for a thin style carpet or matting that I can cut and staple or nail down but I want something that I'll still be able to see small items or screws when I place them down so I'm not searching for it.

I was thinking of painting the bottom as well or doing something to it like add painted logos or something just to cover a few spray paint spots from work.

That's what I was thinking about. Something where you don't scratch your gear, but where is thin enough to not lose anything.

Nice looking at home shops fellas, can't wait to have my own one day! You guys should consider the really thin yoga matting...sounds really crazy but its great to adhere to a surface or part of your surface where your working, won't lose or scratch anything. Also works great when wrapping arrows as well.
