I'm curious on how you have your Trail Camera set up? Is you delay set on 5 minutes or 10 seconds. Set on 1 Picture or 2 on one burst. What do you think are the best settings for long battery life? Thanks!

To me it depends on where the camera is

Might be 3 shot burst with a 5 second delay on a trail

2 pic burst with a 30 second delay on bait

2 pic burst with a 10 second delay on a carcass

2 pic burst with a 20 second delay on a pond

1 pic & a 15 second video on a food plot where turkeys are strutting

    Etc etc etc

This depends on how often you check cameras. Had some cameras on Trophy Rock mineral set 2 burst 20 second and filled up 4g card in less than a month. Need to check frequent until you get a feel for deer population frequenting.

I usually run 10 second delay at a single shot.... On certain cameras in certain spots I run photo+video to get the best of both worlds. You'll be surprised what happens on video that regular photos don't capture.

Great info. Just bought my first trail cam the other day and it's on the way. Stealth Cam G42NG. Can't wait to start getting some strutters pics!
