Lmao after all the years of hearing I spend to much or all I care about is archery is finally over thank God. No but foreal it is lol so I got a call today that some of my accessories I ordered we're in .so the story starts so my wife never goes to the bow shop with me ever or shell sit in the truck when I run in to grab something so today I con her into going lol I tell her I'll buy her anything she wants for lunch if she goes. So she does and i tell her I'll get lunch after we stop at the shop she says ok so I pull up she says I'll wait here i tell her I don't know how long I'll be so just come in with me for once and she does. As I'm paying for my items and more arrows she spots a new hoyt vixcen with the pink and black fuse kit and strings she fell in love it was love at first sight I swear. So she asks to hold it then asks to shoot it so we measure her draw and lower the poundage and set it up she goes and starts shooting and absolutely loves it it took a tow truck to get her out from shooting lol she totally forgot about eating lol. So I ask how much for it out the door and it was 708.33 for a brand new hoyt vixcen edition powermax with fuse sight , fuse quiver , pink hoyt qad hdx , pink bstinger stab , and 6 Easton pink carbon ion arrows it's a pretty sweet little set up goes from 19 to 70 lbs. She now loves archery and can't stop shooting lol and now she's asking when we're going hunting lmao it's crazy she's been looking at archery stuff all night and I'm just sitting looking at her and I'm at a loss for words. I need to bi** at her about spending to much time looking at archery stuff now o how the tables have turned lol. But it's great we're going this weekend to shoot and teach her more about shooting it's gona be a blast. I swear if she kills a bigger buck than me her first year we might have issues.

You said powermax but the weight range adjustment tells me it's the ignite.
The price tells me that as well as the powermax is around 6 bare.

    That's awesome!
But plan on her shooting a bigger buck, that's how it works.

I'm going to give her my xop hang on I don't use anymore and I'll use my new stand and sticks. I think this being her first year I'm going to double hang our sets so she can see and get comfortable climbing a tree and see what it takes to setup. I also have some blinds she can use and some climbers.

I'm double hanging this year with my son for his first bow season. The wife will be solo.
With him hunting now all three of us will be in the woods.

Always nice having one more thing to do as a family.

I tried that with mine, I ended up doing the first one as a freebie and a learning experience. She did help skin it. She's holding the blade next time.
I did tell her if she gut shot one, she on her own.

It sounds like a monster has been made in one trip to the shop! If she falls in love with hunting like she did the bow things are really going to explode! Great to hear you have a partner for life!

Congrats, glad she found out she enjoys it! Just keep encouraging her and don't nit-pick everything. Little tips are nice - but when you criticize you'll lose her interest. If she misses, it's part of the game - don't go hostile. Just speaking from experience.
