So sportmans guide has great deals on the epic cam 119 bucks on sale for 45 bucks!!!! But can anyone send pictures for the best way to mount this camera on a bow!? Mike4christ
We used epic cams for a few years... they were complete junk. It was bad enough that we quit using the free ones. Save your cash and buy a tactacam, garmin vibe or something else.
Well dang it I already bought it but I only payed 40 bucks for a whole complete set. So if I get a single hunt out of it I'll be happy Mike4christ
Remember that setup! Surprised you still have those pictures Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
Ive owned alot of cameras over the last 11 years. Epic Cams are the worst. Customer service was even worse when i tried to find the issue with it. Send it back. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Well I'll try it for this season lol it was only 20 or 30 bucks but next years tax season will hopefully bring me a nice little tactacam lol Mike4christ
I don't care what bow mounted cam it is, they are all junk and have poor quality. the wide angle lens makes everything look so far away you can't see any detail.
I purchased one on Sportsman guide for $26.99 back in April. Mounted on my bow and harvested 1 turkey using it. Not high quality by any means, but I felt it worked well for that price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not necessarily true. The new Tactacam 3 & 4 both record in 2.7K and have a 5x optical zoom. Here's stills from two turkey hunts this year and a doe I shot last year. Turkeys are ~10 to 13 yards, the doe is about 22.
Well, I have some birthday money to blow and got excited about that Epic cam until Dubbya chimed in. I bought one of the S-4 Gear phone holder last year on a couple hunts. It seemed to work ok for about the same price. Although, the picture quality wasn't that great past 20 yards. I am going to play with it some more before I decided whether or not to try it this year. http://www.basspro.com/S4Gear-Jackknife-Smartphone-Bow-Mount/product/12032705011146/
This is a still shot from the Epic HD cam. The decoy is only about 10 yards from the blind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
