My absolute favorite YouTube channel is Sean's Outdoor Adventures. I have been a subscriber of his since 2012. I literally watch every episode and I even watch some of them several times. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCDjS_3WhbdHjrPn29q8R47g I also love DIY Sportsman with Garrett Prahl. He is a great guy that has lots of knowledge. Love watching his videos. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCrWvet_L5H1_AV3kATmydnQ I watch growing deer tv. They have a YouTube channel but I normally watch it from their own website - growingdeer.tv I also watch Midwest whitetail but I also normally watch it on their website. Well yes I have to say my own too. HillbillyJedi88 - YouTube I just started so I'm trying to work my way into something I guess. Not really sure where I want it to go but guess we'll see. Aside from Bowhunting.com's channel, I enjoy these: Midwest Whitetail: Midwest Whitetail - YouTube Hushin: Hushin - YouTube Aimed Outdoors: Aimed Outdoors - YouTube (Also a fellow forum member) SOLO HNTR: SOLO HNTR - YouTube (These guys do some hard hunting. Lots of spot and stalk DIY action)
Thanks! I don't really put anything on my personal channel, and my business channel is for commissioned work, so I guess they aren't really applicable in this case. But here they are if you wish. Personal channel - ElyFitz - YouTube Wolvenwood Studio - Wolvenwood Studio - YouTube
Thanks. I've only got a few videos too but you gotta start somewhere. I can't wait for turkey season to make some more. Saw a dozen toms on the way to work this afternoon and I was like a kid at Christmas!
I think I have watched everyone of leatherwood outdoors videos on both channels. They are only about 30 minutes east of me so it really pumps me up to see local guys having such a good success rate. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm more of a random YouTube viewer so I don't have too many pages that I subscribe to. If you are into watching full episodes, you can also check out Gen7 Outdoors. This is where we host our show after the season has aired on the Pursuit Channel. It's just another place to find some good outdoor content. GEN7 Outdoors TV Channel Hunting and Fishing TV Network
Simon, Not sure if you're a podcast listener or not, but Randy Newberg just had the guys from Hushin on recently (his show is called Hunt Talk). They were talking a lot of creating content for online consumption, specifically Youtube. They converted Randy to it a year or so ago and were talking about how you build a brand and an audience online. Worth a listen. Quick synopsis? Content is king. Also, it's necessary to continually produce content. If you let your channel sit idle for months at a time between uploads, you're not going to generate the traffic. Of course, social media pushing, annotations, tracking with analytics, etc., all come in to play. It's a lot of work, and it definitely isn't for everyone (heck, I know it's not for me).
