Welp after last Sunday's hunt, I need a new pair of binoculars. I went to take mine off their hook, and they slipped out of my fingers and down 20 feet to the forest floor. This ended with them in about 3 pieces. I have only had 2 pairs which were both Christmas gifts, so I have never had to pick a pair out yet. My 2 previous ones were both cheaper Bushnell.

So I am surfing around looking at some different pairs. I hunt mainly woods, and for the most part they are pretty thick. However, I do have spots that are open woods/field edges. I would like something nice, but I don't want to break the bank on a pair.

$100 and I would probably go up to $150 if need be.

Right now I think I may go with the Vortex Crossfire.

Vortex, Cabelas, or Burris, for that price.

I'd look at the Vortex or Alpens, get the best ones you can afford. Justin sells both here on BH.com.
