Well, my 2007 Hoyt Vectrix XL (30"/60#) just turned 10 years old! I loved this bow the day I bought it from Lancaster Archery, and I still love it today. It's been to Alberta and back a few times, and on many Pa hunts without issue. Shoots like the day I bought it. If it ain't broke don't fix it! Is there anyone else out there who refuses to give up their bow because of old age, or sentimental value?
I had that same bow until last week! I loved it, but bought it used in 2008. Unfortunately it was a 29" draw and too short for me. I bought an Elite Synergy last week and love it. Shop accurately measured me and am now actually shooting a 31" DL, feels much better. I was able to kill a doe on 12/31, just before retiring the Hoyt to my son.
