My 2016 slug buck.

    Here's my 2016 gun buck. I'm very happy to have meat in the freezer and thrilled as he was the first deer I saw while in the stand, the only deer I had a clear shot at for 5 days of hunting, and my biggest buck yet.
    Any guess at the age? I'm only thinking 2.5 or so.
    Euro mount came out nice I think.

    Great looking buck. As far as age goes you really need to look at the bottom jaw bone.

    Congrats on a great deer. Euro mount looks great as well. Racks can be deceiving as far as age goes. I shot a 148" buck with my gun this year. I figured for sure he was atleast 3 1/2, but his teeth showed he was only 2 1/2. Really made me think about the deer I've been shooting, but he is my biggest to date. Couldn't pass him up.
