I have been through two of the "Best" targets out there those were the block that lasted about four months and all the sides were shot out and just recently i had the glendelbuck and that lasted six months bug today the core was done it well apart now so i ordered a new core but want to know what everybody uses and has lasted longer than six months.
Indoors I shoot a SpyderWeb. Outside I have Blocks, Glendel, 18-1 and a couple of home made clothing filled targets.
Both because they claimed to be able to take them i even went as far as if the broad heads were sticking out the other side i would unscrew them from the arrow and pull the arrow out.
I second spyderwebs for field points only however The arrows come out super easy. Like 2 finger easy "Couldn't think of a good Signature"
Block targets are nowhere near the best out there. Buying a block target may as well be throwing money down a drain. I was getting pass throughs within 3-4 days on 2 different ones. Go get a Rhinehart 18:1. I have shot mine for 4 years now and still have some sides untouched. That is shooting from march to August with field tips then I switch 1 arrow to a broadhead to check broadheads for tuning and usually shoot 1-3 broadheads per session with my FPs to make sure all is well with my setup. That is 1-3 shots out of a total of 20-40 per session. If your bow is right there is no need to shoot broadheads very much. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I have the Rinehart 18-1 and I have shot it for almost a full year (just field points) and have yet to get an arrow poking out any side. I do rotate the target every couple rounds when I shoot but overall I am very impressed with it.
My Yellow Jacket had been holding up ok but now it's got white stuffing poking out the holes on the opposite side. I had a near pass-thru which ticked me off yesterday. I thought I was going to rip the vanes off trying to get it through the other side because it was hanging on all the stuffing. It's a good target but I've noticed some arrows are getting buried to the vanes and I've only had it about 6 months. My Shooter buck seems to be holding up ok. I haven't shot any broadheads at it. Don't even ask about the block target. The 18-1 is next on my list.
18:1 for me. I've had one for about 5 years and it is still in fine shape. I think they'll replace it for free if you can wear it out in a year's time. At least that was the deal when I bought mine.
I really like my buck tag target from walk on I highly recommend it. It's defiantly one of the most high quality targets I've ever used also the robin cube is even more durable and you can use broadheads on it as well. The targets have a large surface area and multiple aiming points to really focus your practicing and become the best shot you can be

The best ones I have found are the ones I have made. Layers of cardboard compressed with threaded rod. I freshened up the middle layers back in June on one I made nine years ago. Very durable and cheap!!! I 've shot into this target every day since September 1 , ( that's four months straight !!) recurve and longbow, no broadheads. Still OK. That's close to 5000 shots.
I have a rinehart 18:1, it's great for field tips and broadheads. Very durable target. I don't leave it outside like some, has been going strong for a while now. You can also get blemished ones for 40$ less that's what did and all that was wrong is the paint wasn't perfect, who cares your blowing holes into it!
I like Rinehart, durable and take plenty of shooting - just don't leave them (or any target) out in the elements. Any target you put broadheads into is going to get chewed up pretty quickly, even if it's designed for broadheads. We only shoot BHs into cheap targets as we don't shoot broadheads a lot.
Apparently it's innovative outdoorsman' s dad's prototype. The selling point is that it's so big you can't miss. Sent from a piece of paper, tied to a rock.
Rinehart 18-1. If you can wear it out in a year, they'll replace it for free. I don't think anyone has a deal like that and what do you have to lose? Either you get a target that lasts more than a year or you get a new one for free.
