Today I bought some Sitka for the first time. I would encourage everyone to go check out the AT classifieds. There are some great deals on there. I got the stratus jacket, heavy weight core top, Celsius shacket, and core mid weight bottoms at a very low price. I'm going to complete the set with a few more pieces, but I'll wait for the right deal. I have been hearing about Sitka non stop for a long time, and I'm excited to see what it's all about. :tu:

I'm sure you'll like it. I have some and find it is quality stuff. As far as "camouflage" goes... it works a lot like Realtree, Lost Camo, Kuiu and Plaid. :)

You will love it. I converted a coworker this year and he was hooked. He was just going to buy the base layers, but he ended up buying Stratus Pants/Jacket and the Celsius Shacket along with the base layers. He loves it.

It looks like nice stuff but I am surprised that I see more for sale on archerytalk than any one there line. Why are people selling it if it is so good?

Sometimes I think people spend more than they can afford then have to sell it to help them come back from debt. I could see a person not being able to afford a lot, charge a bunch on a credit card then get the bill and realize oh crap, I gotta pay it. I could imagine several on archery talk do this.

My Illinois hunting partner has it, that stuff is awesome!

If you have as good of a season next year as you did this year, sitka might use you as their spokesperson.

New pattern Subalpine. We discussed this on another thread, I wondered if it was the ground forest that is available in Europe but I was wrong. Looks like cool stuff. Designed for ground level hunting where Elevated 2 is, well, for elevated stands :) .

I like that their designing there cloth for hunting within 50yds. I think some of my sitka gear is to noisy and meant more for rifle hunters.
