I recently traded my old bow in for a new one. Hoping to get a few extra dollars from it, I left the stabilizer on. It wasn't an expensive one, $15 off of Amazon. But i was wanting to buy a new one. One that isn't too expensive, and one that I could use for both hunting and target archery as it is the only bow I have. But it doesn't matter if you got it at Walmart. Or if you got it from a sponsor. I just want to have options and see what other people enjoy shooting with

6" trophy ridge static stabilizer. Enough said I'm sure Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I have a 5 inch Axion gridlock stabilizer that on my Mathews Z7. It does a great job and the integral Mathews Harmonic Stabilizers seem to help quiet everything down. However it does cost a bit. My backup bow has a Limbsaver S-coil and it does a nice job for about a 1/3 the cost.
What bow did you get? I switched to a 35" ata bow this year and I'm planning on going without a stabilizer altogether. I'm not convinced most of the hunting length models make a significant difference, besides adding weight. I figure this bow is already inherently more stable than the 31" or 32" bows I've shot before, no reason to add more weight for questionable benefit. We will see how it goes once I can get back to shooting. My backup bow still has the little S-Coil on it, can't say it did much besides hold my wrist sling on but never really tried shooting without it so who knows.
10" B Stinger. I was hesitant to spend much money on a stabilizer, but I am very happy with it and it was worth the money for my accuracy.
Beestinger 8" forward with 1oz and 10" backward with 3oz. My bow felt a little top heavy and wobbly when trying to hold my pins steady. Now it just settles right down. Barely moves at the shot too.
I am using a Bee Stinger 10" Hunter front and an 8" off the back of my Halon. Good results for me so far.
