My bow started making a loud knock right at full draw. It's a single cam. The knock is coming from the cam. I can't seem to pin point where it's coming from. I don't have a press or I would have had it apart already.
If it's coming from the cam then it's Most likely a bearing. However you will frequently get a knock or tick from a limb pocket as well.
Just a guess, but I've had similar issues the following year after pulling the bow back out from the previous season. Usually for me it was the limb pocket and a couple drops of oil took care of it.
Loosened limb bolts one turn and oiled. Still a loud knock. It is right at full draw. If I draww real slow it goes away and a fast draw it gets louder. Seems to be in the cam, I can feel it when it happens.
took my bow apart today. Everything looked good, except, the spacer for idler wheel is oblonged. Could this cause a knock? Wonder where I could find a replacement.
Bingo! That sounds like your problem. Try your closest bow shop for the spacer. Or, get a part number and order it.

Just for the heck of it, I switched the spacers around to opposite sides of wheel. I'm going out to shoot it a few times. I'll contact High Country and see what they have. I feel like I need to upgrade my bow, but this bow and me have been through alot of blood sweat tears and mud!
Gotcha, but it is a 16 year old bow. I really don't know how it stacks up to new news as far as noise. I have several noise and vibration eliminators on the bow. It kills up to 35yds no problem if I do my part.
I shoot a 2013 PSE Omen which is a double cam bow. I was having a loud click right before I reached full draw and the stop made contact. I loosened both limb bolts and re tightened them and the click stopped after doing that so that may be an option loosen the bolts a few turns and tighten them back up.
