What's everyone's using for bowhunting gloves? My local cabelas only have one brand and only one size, and I can't find much online. What's your favourite?
Cabela's Online Store - Quality Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Outdoor Gear I use these from early season until it gets into the low 20's
I don't like wearing gloves more than twice before switching them out for another pair that is scent free. I have some scent lok gloves, but even those I only wear once or twice. I've started buying multiple pairs of cheaper gloves and like that so far. My most recent purchase are from plainjan.com. you can get their knit cotton gloves for less than $4 a pair. The charcoal color is my favorite. They are incredibly warm for what they are. Got a dozen. Every time out I have a clean pair to wear. Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Now that is hard core. I wear the same pair of gloves all year long. ScentLok Savanna gloves - they're light weight, have good dexterity, are comfortable and warm enough for what they are. I'll wear them from September to January. When it gets late a pair of disposable hand warmers in my pockets or a hand muff get the job done.
I wash them scent free and then wear them again Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I have a pretty generic lightweight glove I keep in my hand warmer muff, but haven't been presented a shot when it is cold enough for me to use it. Coldest I've had a shot is about 25 degrees and as long as I've had my had in the warmer I've been OK bare handed. I would only use the left glove, keep my release hand bare always.
I like light weight gloves and a muff also. Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Sitka Fanatic gloves. They don't have a thumb or forefinger. Perfect for bowhunting....for me. Gets cold I put my hands in my pockets. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I'm sorry I just can't get past the underlined part... Never seen a Cabelas with less than 20-30 different kinds of gloves, and the internet is..well, it's the internet! Check amazon, midway, field supply. As for me I've got a pair of Wally World very thin gloves that I LOVE, but after 3 seasons the seams have started to bust out. This season I bought a pair of thin and light scentloks online but their sizing is just odd...they're XLs and the palm size is a bit large and the fingers too short. The Vs between the fingers only go just past the second knuckle. Would have sent them back but it was outside of the return window before I opened them and tried them on. I was at Cabelas the other day and did try on a pair of the UA gloves that Donkey linked to (I know, I've boycotted them but still wanted to check sizing) and they fit perfect. If they weren't under embargo I would have bought them.
LOL I thought the same thing about the lack of gloves... But I agree it's hard to sift through all the BS online "Couldn't think of a good Signature"
i wear this glove and love it. they come in a few different weights for different temperatures. i have worn them for yrs and they keep my hands warm and i like the fact my release stays in the same spot i have been shooting all summer. Manzella Bow Ranger Gloves
My bag?...my pack stays in my scent free tote. My bow...I spray down. My breath...I chew on acorns or other local tree nut - just kidding...I eat granola and apples. Doing my part to help control the deer population. Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
