had four does under me at dark. pulled cam card and had a legal buck xmas morning then xmas afternoon he came in as a half rack. as he was feeding he lost the other side in front of my stand last night. ugh! he was showing up pretty regular. hopefully another one still packing shows up. I only can shoot a buck so we will see. good hunt otherwise.

didn't have time to hunt tonight so I went and hung a stand then checked my camera. batteries were dead so I only got a few pics. looks like another buck in this other area has completely shed both sides as well. I can't win for losing. antlers are dropping left and right. I'm running out of bucks to hunt.

Nothing this morning, just some cardinals and crows in middle Ohio. Wishing I could stay out longer but I gotta take my girls to the mall so they can spend that Christmas money. Oh the struggles of hunting and fatherhood.

Heading out to some game lands with dad, going out of the climber tonight, I put a camera out on Christmas going to see what's been going through there and if there's nothing I'll just walk and find a place. This is my new vipers first voyage so hopefully it's a good one !!! Good luck all

In about a 300 yard wide strip of timber between the parkinglot and the turnpike, have a trail that is down to the mud and fresh crap on it 25 yards in front of me, here's my view [IMG][IMG][IMG]

This area was timbered 2 years ago and I haven't hunted it since but on this same trail years ago I had day time pictures during the late season well see

Doe and two fawns. Was fun to be in the stand again after a few weeks hiatus.

This was a big step for me as these were the first deer I've seen from the stand in late season I have never seen deer in the late season
