Given everything you've said...I'd probably kill him... Given hunting pressure on land we do not own & hunt...and hunting pressure on surrounding land...very few of us have hundreds of acres that we own and can manage to the point of letting a solid 3-4 year old deer pass...in hopes..of him showing up next season.n That being said...only kill a deer you want to kill...easier said than done...if someone else walks him...you can feel good about at least giving him a chance...but given my thoughts on his age...he is not going to bloom into a monster...my 2 cents...
I believe he is a 3 year old deer! thats a good deer buddy. For where your at if thats a good deer and thats what makes you happy by all means shoot it, i will say i think that deer could become a monster.....its up to you, but dont regret shooting a deer of this size.
Personal choice 100% never should another's opinion control a harvest unless it is someone else's ground with minimums. The above is because I personally cannot stand that mindset. Shoot what will make ya happy and roll with it!
It is hard to give an answer with out knowing a few things. Have you killed deer bigger than this buck and what do you consider a giant?
I'm guessing 3. There are lots of valid points here. Do what YOU want. Since you asked, not a shooter in "my" eyes.
