Was almost going to sleep in today but decided to still go in despite the cold and snow. My buddy and I got in the stands late basically right before shooting light. I put him in a stand that every time I put someone in they see deer and I took a newer stand. At 7:15 he tx me he had a buck in front of him but was behind a holly tree. About 20 mins later I hear him shoot we were only 75 yards from each other. It was snowing so hard the track and blood trail were disappearing in front of us so we waited about an hour and got on the trail he had bedded down 7 times before we took the video and got him. Wasn't a big deer but learned a lot tracking him and it ended up being a perfect day in the woods. bowsie15 - Bowhunting.com Forums(1223757) on Vimeo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's a whole different hunt when it's in the snow! Love it. Congrats on the buck. Oh yea, I would have pulled THAT arrow. lol
Congrats to your buddy and thanks for sharing! One of these days I hope to get a chance to kill a buck in the snow, but we don't get much of the fluffy white stuff here in OK.
WE get plenty of the white stuff, but by the time it flies here in west MI the deer have been hammered by general firearms season and then immediately followed by muzzleloader. This is my 40th season of bowhunting and I have yet to get a shot at a buck in December......killed some does though. Congrats to your buddy.
