Yes, if you want to get frostbite! lol On one of my Alberta (Edmonton Bow Zone) bowhunts a number of years ago, it was 25 below zero with the wind chill, and I called my guide to come get me from my stand after only 45 mins! I still ended up getting frostbite on my hands! I sat inside for 2 of my 5 days of the hunt because of the cold. Mind you, it was a $5000 hunt! These are SERIOUSLY cold temps to be out in.

That's a little too cold for my taste. Richie Music had a ridiculously cold hunt on Bowhunt or Die within the 2 seasons I think. He killed a nice buck though so it was worth it.

Very exciting morning, saw a monster chasing does but he wouldn't stop for me. Let a little 6 and a spike walk and they went down to my little brother who killed the 6. It was his first buck so it's been good day. Good luck to all that are still out.

So question would you hunt a food plot no matter what right now I have a small 1/4acre plot sitting in a thicket on 5 acres on a tree line that connects two major woods seen a huge ten point in there...once.... during rut. I have other properties amounting to about 175 acres but no food source. What to do?

Went out scouting/small game hunting in the 30mph wind today, basically I took my 22 for a walk lol found some awesome rubs back in some thick stuff, found more treestands than I would have liked to but it's public land... here's the rubs [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Just a shame my buck tag is already filled in PA... dad still has a buck tag hoping some of the big boys made it through the orange army

I would hunt it if the wind is right.
That is where I seen all the deer last night.
The ones I seen tonight we're on the way to a food source.

adam, where the heck are you in PA where there is no snow? I have over two feet in my yard and counting. I did happen to see a buck dogging a doe down the road tonight.

Lancaster, about 45mins north of the Maryland border. We're supposed to get 1-4 inches Saturday but then sundays going to be back in the 50s I would love for some snow!
