With Tags punched time to start dreaming of next years adventures! Maybe I'll even have time to get my new Halon 6 that's sitting in the box on my workbench setup... Just love my Mathews Monster MR6 so much - its hard to change!!

I about lopped off the tip of my thumb the day before shooting my nice 4x4, my hands were so cold from the morning sit and hurting from the thumb injury I winced a little and had to push myself to get pulled back... Deer didn't go far so tracking/recovery wasn't a concern... Was a fixed blade guy for so long, I've just been amazed at the damage these mechanicals can do! Top 3 pics are same deer, bottom one is a different one...

Good luck to those still out hunting!

Congrats, what did that 8 pt field dress? Not sure if it is a bit of angle manipulation but that deer looks heavy compared to the 10.

Heck of a season either way

I'm not sure what it dressed, but I struggled loading it myself - I know that! The 4 was a fair amount bigger bodied than the 5 - by a fair amount... Don't have a good scale for dress weight - would be fun to have though...
