I think i'm going to go out Thanksgiving AM for a couple of hours... then off to a hockey tournament for my daughter from Friday - Sunday... Sat is the last day of regular bow season here in MA.
Our deer season has been over since the 12th. But, I'll be out first thing in the morning on my first *real* goose hunt!
I'll probably be out in the morning. We have close to 2 feet of snow to trudge through. Typically I carry a rifle this time of year but I'll be out with my bow hoping to get a thanksgiving doe.
I'll be out tomorrow and maybe friday... Fire arms season starts up here in Monday so this will be my last weekend of peace
I'm going to get in a couple hunts from Friday to Sunday. At that point there will have been almost two months of hunting pressure and specifically one week of gun pressure on those deer. The place I hunt gets extremely hard buck wise about this time.
Wife is a Nurse and drew the Thanksgiving day shift. Our family is doing the all the festivities Friday. After a few honey due's I am headed to the woods.
Clicked on here to say I was out, but just couldn't do it. Poured out my adult beverage and turned on the alarm(s) Killing starts early, have to be there to take advantage though.
Oh yea ill be out! Dont know what to expect in my area, gun season just opened 4 days ago so the deer get heavily pressured this whole week. But ill be in stand anyways! Goodluck everyone!
Good luck guys. But after a 10 day vacation, I'm so busy at work it's ridiculous. You guys that hunt close to home, don't know how lucky you are. Having to drive 4-6 hours one way just to hunt is killing me!
I'm on call for snow evey 3 days and I was on today. Freezing rain this morning meant I had to work instead of hunt.
