Same deer?????

So trying to figure out if this is the same deer from 2013-2016. Same area and the antlers just look too similar. My buddies and I are disagreeing I think 100% same deer. But one of my buddies thinks a 8 can't go back to a 7 in his prime. So he said put it on bow hunting.com and see what they say. So I'll leave it in you guys hands. The pic from 2015 is the only one I got from him my buddy hot a shot off in 2014 on him and he didn't come back for a while. So let the debate begin ha ha?????

I say yes it is the same deer, if a deer can gain a tine not sure why some believe it can't lose one. Same as a deer can score better at a younger age than a year older(not talking about 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 going downhill)

 

I vote same deer in my opinion. I agree with cls, i believe that a deer definitely can lose a tine even when in his prime, though i have no evidence or facts to back that up
