Got out this morning, set up on the ground for now. Cant let the dark side win, a little stand theft isnt going to stop me! Orange army is out in full swing this opening day, shot after shot after shot, all around me. One guy came in late, less than 10minutes before first light, set up 65 yards to my left on the ground.. ugh. Wish me luck!

Raining here. It's supposed to quit soon and I'm hoping that triggers some movement. Temps dropping also.
I was the only one of our group of 7 to get a shot yesterday. Nice 9 pointer is in the barn. A group of 6-7 does circled the area the last hour of light but never got close enough for anyone to shoot. I hope we can add a few deer in the barn today. Good safe hunts to you all.

Headed to northern Minnesota for an afternoon sit at our farm tomorrow, we haven't even hunted or been up there yet this year, if I'm gonna kill a decent buck, that's where it'll happen
