I saw two bucks that I would shoot on Saturday. I could not hunt on Sunday or today, but will be back after them tomorrow morning and Wednesday. Starting to feel the pressure! You guys are knocking them out and I am having a hard time getting in the tree as much as I would like. This weekend should be good here too. It will be the coolest temps we have had all season. Its crazy that I had to spend the day yesterday mowing grass. Don't be too disappointed in me if I end up shooting an old 8 point in the 150 range. I'm getting hungry! Good luck VS! Its only a matter of time before the 4 pointer's grandpa walks by.

Haha I told my wife I needed to get some pics for the contest. No worries though. I get a new off-road bumper out of the deal so it's not all bad.

Went out to hunt and had to spend the morning with a local Sheriff's Deputy and a CO because I had a guy that apparently forgot he was not supposed to be hunting at my place after being caught in there two years ago. His truck was there and the dirtball would not come out and when he answered his phone he said he was hunting on a farm over a mile away and walked because it was so still out. BS! Talked to that landowner and he said he had never heard of the guy. Still, no charges, nothing, because when he called the CO back, he wouldn't say where he was and we never could find him. So frustrating to put up all that money and put in all the work to do things the right way and not be able to enjoy my own property because some dbag helps himself. So, I wasted the time I took off from work this morning. Nice.

He parked it on a public dirt road. More than a mile from any property that he could possibly have permission to hunt.

After hunting 16 days in a row, I'm mentally and physically exhausted so I took today off. Back to work tomorrow for a day, then hunting Friday as my last hunting day before heading back to work full time this weekend.

    GOOD luck guys/gals!

Thanks OK. Im down to about 10 hrs of stand time before I head back to work. Might not be able to hunt again for a week and by that time, the rut will be over around here.

Busted out the back up bow for good luck. It was a killing machine for a decade before I got this other bow about 3 to 4 years ago.

bucks, you read my mind....however Ive been seeing does, not many bucks though. Im heading into a thicket on a ridge. The bottom of the thicket is right along a creek (havent hunted down low there before). I might just change it up and hunt the creek bottom tomorrow morning. Cant do any worse than ive been doing hunting the downwind sides of ridges. I think the scent will pool up down by the creek and maybe the bucks will be below the thicket scent checking the first couple hours. I DONT know. hahaha.

what do you all think? I need a hail mary.

Bucksnbears and Wisconsin buckeatch still have bucks not added to our total due to missing info. Looks like Wisconsin has the time in there but it says time missing. Bucksnbears has to post the breakdown of his score.
