I would be lying if I didn't say I was mentally fatigued. I've hunted 15 of the last 16 days on my public land spot, over 100 hrs on stand, and I've seen only like 8 bucks, none of which would break 100 Inches. Action has slowed to a halt.

I've been covered up by deer all morning. 6 or 7 doe and little 6 point buck went by twice. Nothing to shoot at though, app saying 30-40 yards out in the brush.

I'm on the ground with the doe decoy. Nice crisp morning, heard gobbling not far off.
Wouldn't mind decapitating a turkey one bit

today starts gun season in Michigan...another reason why Michigan's deer season sucks. Why we don't start on a Saturday and end the next Sunday, I'll never know.

It's been a tough pill to swallow. All the scouting I did, refined my shooting mechanics, and have hunted hard. Seeing a buck only about once every 10 hrs has been rough. I just need to get better as a bowhunter. That simple.

I feel like Jack Nicholson in the Shining, pretty much delusional from toiling away in a treestand for endless amounts of hours.

Well that's it for me this morning. Already lasted lot longer than usually do by about hour and half or 2 hours. Can't make myself stay put much past 830 for some reason ha. Pretty good morning tho, around 10 deer all together. See ya thus afternoon

I figured since the moon was out i'm gonna sit until 1:00. That ain't easy to do when you haven't seen anything in the last 2 sits but it is November, the leaves are beautiful and I'm in the woods. Guess I shouldn't complain too much. It only takes 10 seconds to change my season...right?

Hahah no I just left, it's 1015, and maybe shouldn't have. Just saying I usually don't stick it out in the morning much past 830. I hate mornings ha. I'm sure probably regret not staying out but didn't really prepare to sit all day.
