    Made a move. Sitting on a ridge about 100 yards from a doe bedding area. I like my chAnces a lot better here.

    Haha! The first night was rough, I still got up at 3 like the rest of the week and to excited from the day before! But last night I sleep like a rock. That was a hard 2 1/2 months chasing that buck! But I would do it every year!

    Now Feb its your turn to get your mid west monster! I want to see some pics by the end of the week!

    Well if it's hunting wood peckers I'd be one happy camper right about now. 4 of them Been pounding away all morning right next to me

    Just heard a couple grunts in the cat tails behind me , tossed out some challenging grunts, hope he makes an appearance

    Been quiet and cold... saw a doe fawn before sun up and a small buck 300 yds off. That's it so far...pretty slow

    Just had a mature doe work toward me but then the stupid little spike ran her off.

    Frost is melting off of the neighbors pasture.
    It's terribly noticeable when the orange army is a bad shot. Everyone knows, if you keep shooting, you missed or mamed the poor creature.
    If I miss, the deer and I are the only ones that know.

    Have spike bedded 80 yards out and I think there's 6 pt with him too.

    Damn just had an opportunity and got busted watched this buck making scrape in thicket stand up grab bow give couple grunts and he starts walking this way comes out of thicket and picks me off soon as he was 5 ft out of thicket quickly heads back into thicket
    No leaves makes hard for cover
