    Onions, peppers, and fresh deer heart from the doe i killed last friday cooked on an open fire... mouth watering goodness.

    We usually can't eat the heart due to the broadhead or bullet hole :)

    Just kidding, do you just slice it thin and grill it? Been wanting to try it.

    hahaha my buddy who just tried it for the first time said he would never aim for the heart again. Cut the top of the heart off to get rid of all the plumbing. separate the heart and trim well until all you have is red meat.No fat or veins. Then slice into thin strips. (about 3/8"). I Marinated in worcesterchire, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, and red wine vinegar. Get fire real hot. (this is imlortant !!!) only takes couple mins each side.
