Congrats to the guys putting them down. McKaxx hurry up with pics lol As for me I have been hot on the heals of high and tight after missing him. Yesterday had him in a thicket at 70 yards then later on he came busting by at 45 with a doe. Ran her all the way to another wood lot to which I watch him stand over her for two hours until it got dark. Have the rest of this week to get it done with him then this farm is done for the season. I fear he may expand boundaries once he is done with her also. Going I keep grinding away at it this week then will switch gears to a 9 at the house and another property I haven't stepped foot on yet this year
Heading out in a little bit to sit. Hopefully a hit lister checks in on the scrape line. Wish me luck.
Guys 'Big 9' is still around. Yesterday morning I hunted the wrong stand ... AGAIN! This is the buck that has already taken one of my broad heads between the shoulder and spine. I will settle for no other deer unless someone else gets him first.

I continue to see a lot of deer in each sit. I thought the rut had kicked in but quite honestly I think there is always some early activity. I will continue to hunt two different stands, both over water as it appears that is where the activity always leads during the rut.
He's at the taxi. He's gonna gross about 130. I'll get him on the sheet as soon as I get him back. Thankfully I know my taxi well
Had a great day on stand today. Saw 11 deer, which is as many as I saw in my entire 2011 season That season I had just shy of 128 hrs on stand. There was some chasing finally going on and my dad missed a nice one that was on a doe. Things seem to be turning around up here. Going to be in the mid 20's all night tonight. Hoping to get it done in the AM!
Well I am home from Florida and hunted the last two days and have not been able to get anything close enough to shoot. Have seen several bucks but they were on some does and wanted nothing to with me. I am headed to Virginia on Wednesday to hunt for 4 days so hopefully I will get a shot at something there.
