Yeah I'm worried about this for tomorrow for me! I was getting up at 3:30 before the change, I think that means I have to get up at 2:30 now, LOL! 15 minutes to wake up Chugga coffee 1 hour drive 10 minutes at the car putting my gear on. I slow 45 minute walk in my shorts and T-shirt to get to my tree. 15 minutes at the base of the tree cooling down, putting all my thermals on 15 minutes to climb up the tree nice and slow in my climber and knock an arrow. Thanking God today for His mercy and grace demonstrated to us by the cross. I'm also thanking Him that I have the opportunity to sit out here in His creation and enjoy all the sights and sounds that only a hunter would know. Blessings...........Pastorjim

Good start to what will be an all day sit. Walked up on some doe in the cut corn walking in. Unlike yesterday they just slowly walked off. Had an 8 point come into the decoy and then a doe. Should be a fun day. Good luck all.

Doe came in at 6:57 behind me.. I turned around praying she was being followed... sure as **** here come 2 bucks and they both split off one behind me and one coming down the trail in front of me, the one behind me is bigger so I stop him at 20 yards and what looked like a good shot.. well he runs out across the road and across the neighbors into his woods. I have not met this guy or gal yet so I'm giving it a few hours before I go knocking in doors, it's 8am here now but I found good bright red blood with bubbles and my arrow broke off with good penetration at 30 yards. He's bleeding on both sides running across the road so let's hope I can get permission and find him, he would be my biggest buck to date Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Missed a double. Didn't realize crossbow has to be on fire to cock it. Put it on safety after shot, 2nd deer came in and was only pulled back to dryfire catch. Click. I can see the down dder 15yds in front of me. Going for a double. Shaking so bad. Passed a decent 8 just after first light
