First time this has to ever happened to me. Whole bottom section of climber slipped out and fell. Stuck at 18 feet with top climber and harness. Bow fell and smacked a root. Thank God my friend is hunting with me today. He is coming with his sticks.

In a pinch I feel like I could hear hug this tree but my better sense prevailed. Pitch black out here.

Why aren't the sections tied together!? It is so important to tie them together because of this. Not saying you are lazy so don't take it that way please but so many people just want to get in the stand and forget some of the most important details! I am so glad you are okay! Everyone please wear your hotness and tie this climbers together!

Same thing happened to me this year, i had to bear hug and slip down, it was intense, be glad you have your buddy

 

Down. Safe. String pooped off my bow cam. Back up bow tomorrow.

 

Wherever I go, my hotness goes with me!

 

Also, mine were tied together when it fell it just slipped, i really have to get those stabilizer straps...but money
