    Thanks for this thread. I'm also a New York hunter (Orange County), in a high pressure area, in the stand a dozen times so far, with no shooters in site.

    Yesterday was reaching 70,
    And not a site of deer. I read
    This thread on the stand and told myself to wait as long as possible.

    At 6pm, I slowly started packing. Real slow, with this thread in mind. Sure enough, just as I'm about to lower the bow, I hear a grunt 60 yards Away.
