My dad sent me a picture of a massive buck in the next door neighbor's yard this morning. I blew it up so that you can see the rack better. In talking to a guy at work he informed me that it is legal to bow hunt in your own yard but that there may be certain restrictions per the city or township. I confirmed this with the Wisconsin DNR but haven't heard back from the township if they have any restrictions. There is a good chance it will come back since he neighbor has an apple tree and a pear tree and sees deer frequently. Should I even consider trying to hunt this beast?

Are you asking if you should shoot him in the yard while eating apples? Idk.. if you dont like that idea, why not try and figure out where he is coming from?

    Heck of a deer.....

If I could get permission, I would take the chance.

If it's legal I wouldn't hesitate to shoot that deer. The closer he is to the truck the better. Makes the drag out easier. :tu:

You could dress up like Santa and pretend to be a lawn decoration. Hang some lights too. 'Tis the season

Would be hard not to hunt him. How big is the yard and where will he end up after putting a hit on him. I know a couple of guys that have hit some dandy bucks with good shot placement only not to be able to retrieve them when hunting on small parcels and run on to someone else's property. Small parcels can be good and bad depending on the neighbor hood. I hope you get to hunt him and not have any problems. Good luck to you

WOW! I don't even want to begin to speculate how big that deer is. I would be doing what ever could be possibly done to try and hunt that deer. Keep us updated on the search for that GIANT!

YOU should not hunt that buck....too many questions.

Send me the address and I will come over and scare that beast away from the neighbor's apples. How dare he eat "our" apples".

If its legal and you are safe,,,why not?

This^ I know a guy that shot a doe last weekend in the suburbs and it died up against the backside of the neighbors swimming pool! He had to belly crawl to the deer to get a rope on it to drag it out.
